1. Wiper Wisdom: Replace worn-out windshield wipers. Fall showers and unpredictable downpours necessitate effective wipers for clear visibility. Opt for high-quality blades specifically designed for fall and winter weather conditions.
2. Tire TLC: Fall is a prime time to check your tire pressure and tread depth. Cooler temperatures can cause a slight decrease in tire pressure. Regularly inflate your tires to the manufacturer’s recommended PSI, as indicated on a sticker inside the driver’s door jamb. Uneven tread wear or a tread depth below 3/32″ of an inch necessitates tire replacements to ensure optimal traction and safety on potentially slick fall roads.
